The Imperial River House Resort, Chiang Rai is set on the bank of the River Kok where guests may enjoy the romantic river scenery. The hotel offers 30 deluxe rooms and 6 junior suites by the riverside, fully equipped with modern amenities ensuring guests comfort while staying at the resort. All rooms are equipped with daybed, minibar, tea/coffee making facilities, stereo sets, flat screen TV, safe deposit box, individually controlled air conditioning, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, umbrella, wireless Internet access(at cost), IDD phone, and bathroom amenities. The Tara restaurant serves both Thai and International cuisine, while the Lobby Lounge serves cocktails and snacks until midnight. The resort provides recreational facilities including swimming pool, fitness room, snooker table, library, spa, jogging track in the garden. The resort also organizes private tours. For business guests, seminar and conference room with facilities are also available.

Accommodation and facilities:
The resort was magnificent. Our room was beautiful with a fabulous view of the pool and the river. The spacious bathtub was a bonus. The breakfast menu was very good and having breakfast outside by the pool and the garden was memorable. I will tell my friends.

Sawadee does a good job as usual. I have used them several times before and will refer to them again in the future.

The River House hotel is excellent, clean and very comfortable. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The situation is perfect alongside the river and just out of town, very peaceful. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is an oasis of calm, with excellent staff and excursion services, the food is varied and very good. The hotel would benefit its guests by providing a bar and air conditioning in the lobby.

This is a very nice and well-appointed hotel in a convenient location. The rooms and bathrooms are so clean you can practically eat off the floor. The staff members are wonderful and helpful and never without a smile. We did two tours through the hotel, and even though they were a bit pricey compared with outside tours, they were both excellent and highly recommended if you re not too familiar with the area. We saw so much! Overall, I would recommend this hotel to any friends or family and will definitely come again.

This is the hotel which I can recomment to anyone without any hesitation. The room was spacious, clean, equipped with simple, but tasteful teak furniture. The staff is well trained and have their own initiatives to make guests enjoy their stay. The most impressive part was the garden. Perhaps the owner himself loves plants and flowers. We feel it from the appearance of the garden. Even though we visited in the end of October, out of tourist season , there were at least five gardeners working in the garden to keep it tidy. Free transportation from/to airport and night bazzar was very convenient. Very nice breakfast. We enjoyed food by room service which was tasty and cheap!

Just PERFECT !!!! Great plaxe to stay, lovely service, nice restaurant and free shuttle to the Chiang Rai Night Market. We enjoyed it and definetly coming back!

Our stay at the River House was great, so peaceful, beautiful surroundings and pool. Our room and bathroom facilities were exceptional. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly particularly in the restaurant. It was a memorable stay and we would be more than happy to return there if we ever come back to Thailand. One thing - it may not be suitable for people who like things a bit more lively but that wasn t the sort of holiday we required. Great for a honeymoon I would think.

The minute we arrived at River House we were blown away by its beauty, cleanliness and extra polite and nice staff. We went to our room and we didn t know what to say. You can not ask for more.If you are in the area do yourself a favor and stay here.

Probably best value for money. Beautiful location, stunning rooms and facilities with views overloooking the river. Great pool and lounging area. Quiet and very relaxing. Will always stay here when in Chiang Rai.

A fantastic high quality surprise. The suite we had is fantastic. Spacious, comfortable stylish and a super view - even from the bathroom. Spa with a view. WOW! The staff are friendly and efficient and even adjusted when we had to change flight arrivals.
